If I could give this a million stars I would! This is the best cake I’ve eaten in my entire life. My family could not stop raving about it. This MADE my husband’s birthday. This is our family bakers from here on out.

So this is my first time actually ordering a custom cake from the shop and may I say I've never tasted a red velvet cake so moist, decadent, and rich. The frosting was like glue that hold the cake together without pieces falling apart. I requested fondant as the outside layer and glad that I did. This is the first time, I've tasted fondant that wasn't rubbery. I actually thought for a second, they never added fondant to the cake. I thought it was an extra layer of a different kind of frosting but I was mistaken. The best cake that I've had that was crafted deliciously! Will order again! Thank you Rachel for taking my order and having a welcoming spirit and to the bakers at Kia's cakes, great job for your creativity and satisfying each taste buds! You guys know your flavors! Thank you once again! Add-on: This is my third birthday cake that I have ordered with Kia. This time I ordered a less sugar option because my Grandma and my brother are diabetic. Let me just say, how Kia didn't disappoint. The cake was so beautiful! We all took photos. We were in awe of the design and cake flavors. Check out the photos !

I purchased a cake for my baby shower from Kia’s Cakes and it was just as delicious as it was beautiful. It looks exactly like the inspo picture I shared - just so perfect. Everyone at the party is still talking about this cake! I picked strawberry cake with strawberry jam filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. Sooooo good!

Ordered six "giant mermaid gem cupcakes" (the newly six year old's wording) and told them to go nuts. What I got back went above and beyond - the kids were THRILLED, the cupcakes were indeed giant, and I personally deprived the poor lil children of one entire gorgeous giant confection. Delicious! The flavors are more present than any other cake I've had elsewhere. The party was at one of those Chuck e cheese esque kiddo hellscapes, loud noises and bright lights galore, stinking old carpet and parent panic sweat. I was not there, tho, soon as I bit into that cupcake. I was in a vanilla scented bath, and the air was sweet, and the world was just swirls of pastel frosting and little edible pearls. Finally, and most importantly - the kids got dat sugar rush IMMEDIATELY. I savored my cake while they beat up a giant inflatable slide. By the time it was (finally) going home o'clock, the crash had just begun to come and she went easily. Really mostly because those cupcakes were so huge we still had one and a half to take home and put in the fridge. So really we Do gotta go, you don't want them to melt, do you? Of course not It's 7:20. She is happily asleep already, dreaming of a fantastic party with killer cakes that "really looked like something a very fancy mermaid WOULD REALLY eat" Its also a super chill place to hang out. They have what I call "jillows" (visit kias you will immediately know what I'm talking about if you don't already) and the staff is friendly and interesting. love love love love kias - absolutely a neighborhood staple and a sweet beating heart in our lil community.

I found out about Kia’s cakes from the Lansdowne Avenue Night market where I tried the banana pudding cheese cake. It was so good I marched my tail down the street and got more. I appreciated the free sample though 😅 The cheese cakes are so good. I’ve had the cherry cheese cake, sweet potato, and plain. I was icy when I went Saturday night and they were sold out of the sweet potato one even more in my feelings about the pumpkin spice being sold out talk about heart 💔. I love that they offer vegan options and they taste just as good. The cookies, cupcakes, and the bread pudding YES GAWD!!!!!!!!! Congratulations on your 7 year anniversary! I’m sad I didn’t know about you guys sooner but overjoyed to be patronage your business now. You’ll see me soon 😂

From the moment you walk in, the vibe is calm, cozy, and welcoming. It feels like stepping into a sweet little escape. The staff is incredibly friendly and kind. You’re always greeted with a warm smile, and you can tell they genuinely care about both their customers and their craft. Now let’s talk about the desserts. Absolutely phenomenal. Everything I’ve tried has been rich, flavorful, and clearly made with love. But hands down, my favorite and I mean favorite are the peanut butter cupcakes with peanut butter frosting. I get them for my birthday every year and they never disappoint. The cake is soft and moist, the frosting is perfectly creamy with that deep peanut butter flavor. It’s honestly the best dessert I’ve ever had. No exaggeration. If you’re looking for a peaceful spot with incredible treats and kind people, Kia’s Cakes is a must. Whether you’re celebrating something or just craving a little joy in cupcake form, this place delivers every single time.

If you haven’t been …. Just do it ! Ive always wanted to go in and I finally did this afternoon, I had there breading pudding and it was bomb ! Latte was nice and fresh … and don’t get me started on the atmosphere…. It’ smelled so good the min you walk in and they have seats to hang out or get work done. It’s safe to safe it’s my new favorite spot

Kia’s cakes is absolutely amazing!!! Her customer service is stellar. She executed our vision for our wedding cake beyond what we even expected and it was absolutely delicious! We choose red velvet with strawberry cream cheese filling! Kia’s will always be apart of any special event we have. Thank you so much for making a special day beautiful with your beautiful artistry.

This cake and matching cupcakes were for my mom’s 60th birthday and it looked incredible! Everybody at the party was so in awe of how beautiful it was. The taste was great too! The cake was a 9” 3 layers chocolate chip flavor. And the dozen cupcakes, 6 vanilla and 6 chocolate.

Incredible Vegan cakes! As a vegan it’s hard to come by good quality treats! I really love the Vegan cheesecake cupcake thing I would’ve had more added! I want to buy cakes not even for my birthday this is the 2nd year I have gotten your cakes for my birthday! It’s moist delicious & fresh! I don’t even like frosting but your frosting is incredible! I absolutely love your Vegan treats! I got referred by a family relative! Best Vegan cakes ive had so far!
